Bo Rangers aim for maximum points after winless start

The defending champions in the Sierra Leone Premier League will be aiming for all three points in their next outing after going winless opening match at home turf.

The PK Boys are set to play Old Edwardians on Sunday, 18th December this year.

The champions were held in a one all draw against debutant, Real Republicans in Bo with opening goal coming from Republicans’ Ibrahim Sorie Conteh in the second-half. However, the match was levelled after Jumu Kamara scored for Bo Rangers.

The first-time champion played without controversial striker and last season’s top scorer Musa Noah Kamara who saw his contract terminated by Rangers for lack of sportsmanship behaviour.

Old Edwardians will also be looking to register their first win after failing to defeat Mighty Blackpool at Parade Grounds.

Meanwhile, last season’s title contender, East End Lions ripped off newly promoted Lungi side, Lamboi FC by three goals to one in Lungi. The Killers are topping the League on goal difference with Diamond Stars and Central Parade trailing with three points each.

The 12-time Champions will play Wusum Stars at the Approved school Field on Sunday, December 18.

Although there are other mouth-watering encounters this Sunday with FC Kallon seeking their first win against Diamond Stars at Angola Field, all eyes will however be on Ports Authority playing host to Mighty Blackpool at Attouga Mini Stadium.
