The Craig Bellamy Foundation CBF Will launch the girls U- 19 league on Friday 21st February 2014 at the parade grounds with six female teams are expected to take part High Tension Queen, Amazon, Soccer Queen, Fan Kroobay, Mamoud FC, and Victory girls from Dwarzak.
League Manager Mohamed Sowe said "this will be the first time we are coming up with a Girls' League since the inception of CBF league as it's part of the sponsorship package presented to Mercury International.
Sowe said, "with time there will be more female teams participating in the league...we want to see the girls also in the academy as they should not be left out as they also have a role to play in football development in any country"
The opening match will be between Fan Kroobay and Victory girls,
