Masoila and Rotifunk Communities will battle it out in the grand final of the Closet Creation Inter Community league on Saturday 5th October 2013, at the Fire force playing field, Tintafor Lungi. Masoila Community are the favorites to lift the trophy following what many describe as their "tremendous performance" in Group stage gaining seven points, above the likes of Rotifunk and Tintafor. For their part, Rotifunk produced young players in the competition winning them much praise from spectators in Lungi community. Sulaiman Turay, an attacker with Masoila Community told Politico that he is expecting his colleague players to work as a team to achieve their aim of winning the trophy for the second consecutive time. The head coach of Rotifunk Community Alusine Wurie expressed optimism that his team would win the trophy for the first time in the history of Rotifunk. He said, “I am going to break the deadlock and set a record for my Community“. Wurie told Politico that, “I believe that the boys have displayed excellent mental ability backed up by their unique style of play to reach this point’’. The Public Relations Officer of the organisers, Closet Creation Al-Hassan Adash Kamara said this was their first ever Inter Community league and they were very "much happy with the level of commitment shown by the Communities in Lungi and we are hoping to see the same in subsequent competitions. Kamara said they are expecting "big football Stakeholders to be in attendance as letters of invitation have been sent to them and many journalists". He said the champions will receive a cash price of six millions Leones while the runner up will receive three millions Leones. Other prizes include a purse of one millions Leones for deserving players in the categories of best player, best Midfielder, best goalkeeper, best defender, best coach, fair play team.
