The head Coach of Wilberforce Community Ali Conteh says winning the Central One Football Association(COFA) Inter Area Championship is his team's ultimate aim.
He said this after their goalless draw against Texas City FC over the weekend at the parade grounds.
Coach Conteh said that at the initial stages of the competition they had a good start as they defeated Kroobay and Susan’s Bay in their first two matches. "Such wins motivated my players to perform well for the community with total commitment in the pitch of play".
He expresses hope that his players will prove to him that Wilberforce is a strong favorite to lift this year’s inter-area league. "We did not import players as other teams are doing we utilized our own players in the community as we want to give them maximum exposure’’ he said.
