Dove Cut Community indicts COFA Executive

Dove Cut Community has expressed their disappointment over the Central One Football Association (COFA) resolved not to accept them in this year’s Community league.

According to the secretary general of Dove Cut, Unisa Kamara he said that the competition is meant for communities and not streets, citing the example of Kissy Road being included in the competition which he says is not a community.

‘’We do not rely on bribing to participate” Kamara alleged.

When questioned about the issue of bribery, Kamara replied in the affirmative that he is confident of what he said.

COFA’s Scribe Philip-Cline Cole said that Dove Cut Community was serving a two year ban for all competitions and that after completing their suspension they will be considered for future competition.

‘’The committee that is charged with the responsibility of organizing the league was considering including them in this year’s inter community league, but based on our findings from other leagues they have taken part in during their ban they are still in the habit of creating crowd trouble during their matches and it was as a result of their attitude in bringing the game into disrepute that informed our decision to ban them and until they change their  behavior they will not take part in any of our competitions” Cole said.

Cole denied the allegation of bribery as false and unfounded and said that their association has a credibility to maintain.
