 By Kemoh Sesay

The head coach of Kamboi Eagles Football Club has described the performance of his team in the CAF qualifying match in Algeria as "very good", despite being thrown out of the competition by ASO (Chelf).

Alhaji Foray told Politico in Freetown that his team was "unfortunate not to score a second goal which would have leveled the tie. He said he was able "to rekindle the team spirit in the players by infusing a winning mentality in them for the second leg which they won 1-0.

Asked if the team would continue training, he has " we will have to meet the football stakeholders in the township to ask their consent as there is still a ban on all football activities in the country."

The coach said "the Algerians gave us first class treatment throughout our stay despite what we expected coming from a country suffering from the Ebola outbreak
