Coach of FC Kallon, Amidu Karim, has said his team will continue to work on goal scoring drills. Karim was speaking during a post-match press conference after his team’s sixth draw of the season.
On Thursday FC Kallon drew 0-0 with RSLAF, missing a chance to top the table for the first time this season.
The draw on Thursday now leaves FC Kallon with 18 points, after playing 10 games. The team has now drawn six games, four of them with 0-0 score lines.
“We will continue to work on goalscoring, as we have been doing through out the season. Goal scoring is not just a problem for us. It is a problem generally with the league and even the national team,” Karim said.
“But I know we must score goals. I have told the boys that they need to score. You can only win games when you score goals,” he added.
On Thursday, FC Kallon wasted half a dozen chances in the first half, which emboldened RSLAF in the second half.
Despite concerns about goal scoring, no team has more goals than FC Kallon this season, they have scored 11 in total. They are still the only unbeaten team in the league.
FC Kallon will now prepare to host league leaders, Kamboi Eagles in their next match which is one the 26th of February.
