INGO SEEKING FIRMS TO SUPPORT RESEARCH AND LEGAL SERVICES

 

Seed Global Health is an international non-governmental (INGO) health organization that supports education, practice, and policy of the local professional health workforce in Africa.

 

To inform its work in Sierra Leone, Seed is seeking two consultant teams or firms for different scope of services, described below.

  1. Needs Assessment Consultant Team

Seek is seeking a research firm and/or consultant team to support a mixed-methods needs assessment on midwifery education and training in Sierra Leone. The needs assessment includes data collection during visits to Schools of Midwifery and various health facilities across the country where midwifery students conduct clinical rotations.

 

Select tasks include:

  • Provide feedback and finalize the data collection tools and methodology
  • Prepare all necessary operations and logistics for data collection
  • Conduct data collection, including surveys, focus groups discussions, interviews, and health facility data review
  • Support the analysis and reporting from the data collection period
  • Other tasks included in full Terms of Reference (on the website)

 


 

  1. Legal, HR and Payroll Services 

Seek seeks to contract a firm for legal services, HR Services, and Payroll Administration to be provided to Seed Global Health to support start up operations in Sierra Leone. Eligible applicants include: law firms or attorneys currently licensed to practice law in Sierra Leone; HR or payroll agencies may also submit a proposal for those services.

 

Select services include: 

  • Advise on the requirements and process for NGO registration
  • Advise and support on various employment/labour, administrative, and legal topics
  • Provide assistance on immigration requirements for international staff, including work permits, visas, licensures (for medical and nursing staff), taxes, etc.
  • Act as the employer of record on behalf of Seed in Sierra Leone
  • Other services included in full Request for Proposal (on the website)
