Sullay N'jai, Secretary General of Bo Rangers Football Club has reacted angrily to the indefinite suspension slammed on his club by the Football Association describing it as “selective and full of ulterior motives”.
Njai said his club was scheduled to play FC Johansen Secretary General on Friday 11th October according to information he received from one LansanaClaye by telephone but he replied by text saying they still didn’t have the fixture. He said he next received a text message from somebody called Abu Manley with the said fixture (Bo Rangers VS FC Johansen) on the 12th October 2013 at 02:23:38am to play in the afternoon of the same day.
Njai said he assembled his players to play the game “but to our surprise FC Johansen failed to appear” and “after few days we received a letter of suspension from the FA while the visiting team FC Johansen went unpunished…we`ve written back to the SLFA and we are patiently waiting for their response before we can take any line of action”.
A letter from the FA, signed by the acting General Secretary stated that the suspension starts with immediate effect.
