Two of the highest spending teams in the Sierra Leone Premier League will face each other on Saturday. East End Lions will host Bo Rangers in what promises to be an epic encounter between two possible title contenders.
Bo Rangers will take great pride and inspiration from their performance against FC Kallon last weekend. They will come into this fixture heads held high to face an already bruised East End Lions side.
Lions surprisingly lost to Anti-Drugs 1-0 las Thursday. Since then they have had eight days to reflect and regroup. Bo Rangers recovered from their own surprise loss to East End Tigers to comeback from 1-0 down at half time to draw 1-1 at home with FC Kallon.
This match might be a title decider. Both teams are separated in the table by just one point, Rangers with 11 points and Lions with 10.
Lions are the defending champions and winning the league is at the top of their agenda. Rangers as well haven’t been shy about their title ambition.
These two teams are the highest spenders in the league this season, considering the amount of money spent on player recruitment.
Saturday's game will not just be about three points, it will also be about whose investment shows good value for money on the pitch.
