The acting Head of Media and Marketing at the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Abu Bakarr Kamara has said that the players invited by national team coach Jonathan McKinstry for Leone Stars match against Seychelles was authentic.
Kamara said the list was approved by the technical director and the ministry of sports. He said training is expected to start soon for the home-base players while the professionals are expected to arrive a week before the match.
The SLFA moved to end speculation about a possible rift between them and the ministry of sport over the selection of players
Leone Stars will play Seychelles on the 19th of July 2014 in Freetown, in the AFCON Qualifiers 2015.
