The Acting General Secretary of the Sierra Leone football Association (SLFA) Abdul Rahman Swarray has said that his administration "is not running a secret society" but information’s leaks from the secretariat are "manipulated to suit the convenience of people who want to market it".
He said, ’like any other associations or even at state level, information is leaked but it is the way people manipulate such information to condemn the SLFA... the negatives are leaked while the positives are not the leaked. I don’t know where confidentiality is’.
The General Secretary said that the SLFA has nothing to hide but they are expected to safeguard confidential information.
Swarray who was addressing a news conference, called on journalists to feel free to visit the SLFA and ask for any information they need for the consumption of the public.
