Sierra Leone recorded 0.04% increase in COVID-19 total cases in 72 hours, from Saturday (10:00 am) to Tuesday (10:00 am).
In comparison, Sierra Leone’s increase in total cases was lower compared to Benin (2.27%), Burkina Faso (0.19%), Cape Verde (1.50%), Ivory Coast (0.10%), Ghana (0.20%), Guinea (0.46%), Liberia (0.62%), Mali (1.10%), Niger (1.36%), Nigeria (0.52%), Senegal (0.10%), Togo (2.77%), Manor River Union or MRU (0.23%), the Economic Community of West African States or ECOWAS (0.45%), Africa (1.39%), Europe (4.15%), North America (2.57%), South America (1.22%), Asia (1.27%) and World (2.28%). However, increase in total cases was lower in Gambia (0.03%) compared to Sierra Leone. Guinea-Bissau recorded zero increase in total cases.
Togo (3.51%) recorded the highest increase in total deaths compared to Cape Verde (2.00%), Ivory Coast (0.79%), Mali (0.73%), Nigeria (0.35%), MRU (0.28%), ECOWAS (0.36%), Africa (1.44%), Europe (3.32%),North America (1.20%), South America (0.66%), Asia (1.08%) and the World (1.55%). Benin, Burkina Faso, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Niger, Senegal and Sierra Leone recorded zero increase in total deaths over the period.
Moreover, Europe (5.19%) recorded the highest increase in total recoveries compared to Burkina Faso (1.22%), Cape Verde (1.28%), Ivory Coast (0.27%), Gambia (0.17%), Ghana (0.25%), Guinea (0.30%), Liberia (0.08%), Mali (2.72%), Nigeria (1.11%), Senegal (0.13%), Togo (3.23%), MRU (0.26%), ECOWAS (0.64%), Africa (1.54%), North America (1.48%), South America (0.47%), Asia (1.25%) and the World (1.62%). Benin, Guinea-Bissau, Niger and Sierra Leone recorded zero increase in total recoveries.
