The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has released an outcome of an investigation on controversies surrounding Musa Noah Kamara aka Musa Tombo, urging him to honour his contract with a Libyan club.
The investigation has established that the Leone stars striker signed a two-year deal which is valid from the 15 August 2022 to the 14 August 2024 with Al-Ittihad Sports Club of Libya and registered under the Libyan football Association.
SLFA in a press release has urged the striker to respect the contract he signed with the Libyan football club and to follow the guiding principles of FIFA and international transfer regulations.
The temporary suspension which was levied on the Leone Stars striker to enable investigation of the said matter has been lifted immediately by SLFA.
The mercurial footballer has been saddled with controversies for some time now, several times facing rebuke from the local clubs he played for, and the FA, for ignoring principles and turning up for area football games instead of honoring his contractual duties.
A footage of the player going berserk onboard the home based national team bus refusing to continue to the team’s camp in Kenema after an international match in Liberia also went viral.
He returned home from Libya without even kicking a ball for Al Ittihad claiming his life was under threat because of what he said were gunshots he kept hearing.
He was on video holding a sharp knife threatening to kill himself if he were not allowed to return home.
Musa’s first club trial outside the country was in Sweden but he abruptly cut short his trip claiming the cold weather was too much for him.
His club Bo Rangers has since terminated his services.
