Sierra Leone will host their 2017 AFCON qualification tie against Ivory Coast in Nigeria on the 6th of September because of the ongoing CAF suspension on football in Ebola countries. It's not clear in which venue the match would take place.
A release from the SLFA says the association was, "proud to announce to the general public that the Nigerian Football Association NFA and the Government of Nigeria have approved the request of the SLFA to host the upcoming match against the Elephants of Ivory coast in Nigeria’’
Group I also includes 2017 host Gabon but their matches will not count towards qualification and only group winners will advance to the finals. The African Champions Ivory Coast handed Sierra Leone a 7-1 hammering in their 2015 AFCON qualifying matches over two legs hosted in Abidjan.
