Sierra Queens have been on intensive training at the Kingtom field. with the players selected from clubs in Freetown and the provincial towns . Coach Abdulai Bah aka Kaloga revealed to Politco that he will use the match to assess the mental and physical preparedness of the players for future competitive engagements with top African sides. He was particularly pleased at the way his players have responded in training citing their skills and co-opertion which have made it easier for him. He went on to say that over the past years, the progress of female football stalled and that there was need for re building their confidence. ‘’We lost to Nigeria by a huge margin due to lack of physical and mental strength but despite that they must not be discouraged as we still believe in the team”, Kaloga says. He assured that the players will put up a very good performance in Makeni to secure victory.
