The Sports Writers’ Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) will today launch their second annual National Awards programme at the headquarters of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists in Freetown.
SWASAL president, Mohamed Fajah Barrie told Politico that this year's event would take place on the 6th December but that the awards categories would be unveiled and the general public informed on how to vote for their favorite sports personalities.
He said the judges would also be publicly named along with the lead sponsor of the awards.
Barrie said that people would be awarded for both 2012 and 2013.
