“Mad Man” Released from Prison

In what could have been his final appearance in court, Joseph Margai Morgan, a self declared “mad man” has been sent to the kissy mental home by Magistrate Komba Kamanda of court no.2.

Thorpe's vehicle kills Okada man

A vehicle carrying the Chairman of the National Electoral Commission,  Christiana Thorpe, ACV 135, at about 4:45 PM yesterday collided with
a motorbike (Okada) rider, Momodu Bah killing him almost instantly.

According to the police Local Unit Commander in Waterloo, Edmund Conteh, the accident happened at a place called Kamajor Bridge between Waterloo and the former camp for Liberian refugees, as Thorpe was returning to Freetown from the provinces.
