The architect of Sierra Leone's 6-3-3-4 educational system, Alfred Bobson Sesay has described the modified 6-3-4-4 system as “cosmetic”.
The new system, which started this week, adds an extra year to senior secondary education.

WASSCE results out Friday

Chief Education Officer in the Ministry of Education, Mohamed Kamara says the long awaited results of the school-leaving WASSCE exams will be out tomorrow, Friday 21 September. He said government had already paid the Le 2 billion it owed the West Africa Examinations Council.

New school system begins in Sierra Leone
The Executive Secretary of the Basic Education Commission in the Ministry of Education Science and Technology, Horacio Modupeh Nelson-Williams says the new 6-3-4-4 educational system has started this week replacing the 6-3-3-4 one.
