Newly elected Members of Parliament will be sworn in on the 13^th July 2023, according to a public notice issued by the Parliament of Sierra Leone.

Justice Adrian Fisher has dismissed a case filed by the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) in which they asked the court to order the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) to provide the National Register of Voters to all political parties.

On Wednesday 5^th July 2023, the judge ordered the first and second applicants, APC and its National Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya to jointly pay two thousand New Leones (NLe 2, 000) to the defendants.

Due to the ongoing contentious issue regarding the parallel announcement of the Presidential election results by the National Elections Watch (NEW), Dr. Adams B. Steven a Sierra Leonean based in the United States of America  has questioned NEWs Parallel Voting Tabulation (PVT) system it reportedly used in its projection of the results.

He expressed his concerns at the Ministry of Information and Communications weekly press briefing held at Youyi Building on the 6^th of July 2023.

Justice Adrian Fisher on Tuesday 4^th July ordered the remand at the Male Correctional facility  in Freetown of  two men-  Sulaiman Konikay Tholley, of 1 Bassa Town in Waterloo, and Mohamed Konikay Tholley, of 10 Sesay Lane, also in Waterloo for allegedly stealing properties of Lawrence Larry at Konikay Market, Tombo Park Junction in Waterloo between 1^st and 8^th March 2021.
