Sierra Leone is set to face Mali in the Quarterfinals of the ongoing WAFU Cup of Nations. The two teams will play on Thursday at Stade La Dior in Thies, Senegal.
Sierra Leone and Mali are facing each other in the cup competition, whiles their defeated opponents will now play for the plate competition.
On Sunday, Sierra Leone defeated Liberia 1-0 through a Suffian Kalokoh goal. However, the game had to be completed on Monday afternoon following a power outage that saw the postponement of the match on Sunday evening.

East End Tigers have set Le.130 million as the price tag for their star striker, Baimba Sesay. The striker who scored 12 goals last season is one of the most coveted strikers in the Sierra Leone Premier League.

Air Cote d’Ivoire is set to resume flight to Sierra Leone, after about a year of absence due to a disagreement over a court verdict on a suit brought against it by an aggrieved passenger.
The first flight of the airline is scheduled to land at the Freetown International Airport in Lungi on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
The airline stopped flying to Freetown in January 2018, shortly after losing a bitter court battle that left it parted with US$11,000 as compensation to the aggrieved passenger.
