MINISTER OF COURTESY CALLS WHEN WILL THIS END?

Our new Minister of Sports has been walked into a little trap that we believe is beginning to impact her work and may in the future complicate things a bit for her. She is an opposition politician that has carried herself with a lot of respect over the years and we believe that’s why she’s been put in this very important position. However, day after day we see pictures of her receiving one sporting association after the other in what her spin doctors describe as COURTESY CALLS.

We don’t like to sound pessimistic about anything these days because in this 21^st century world it’s advisable to always hope for the best. It’s not much use adding to all the difficulties we have to deal with daily. So following that trend, we want to hope that Africa will finally get a permanent seat on the Security Council with full veto powers like the 2^nd World War allies and China. But is that realistic?

The great country of Libya is in mourning. More than TEN thousand people are dead. They were swept away by flash floods. The damage is enormous and would require billions of dollars and years of consistent hard work to restore to pre-flood level. Our hearts go out to the families of those who perished and we pray that God would take control of their circumstances.
