LARA TAYLOR PEARCE GOES BEFORE A TRIBUNAL

The panel of judges is in place and the nation is waiting to hear the case against Lara Taylor-Pearce and her colleague from Audit Service Sierra Leone. They were both suspended from office by Principal. We don’t have the real details of the case against them but we’ve been told of something akin to professional misconduct but as usual we have to be careful at this stage when lawyers have entered the field of play on both sides.

MAY BE THE AUTHORITIES HAVEN’T SEEN THIS AT WATERLOO

It rained in the general area of Waterloo last Saturday afternoon. A few hours later we found ourselves in a gridlock on our way to Waterloo from one of the Peninsula villages. It stretched more than a mile and we stayed there for half an hour. We saw this absolute mess in the pictures and we couldn’t believe our eyes. We returned the next day and it was the same.

SOME POLITICAL PARTIES ARE MISSING ON THE GROUND

Bye-election after bye-election we notice that some political parties, including those in parliament are never on the ballot. The two main guys manage to turn up all the time but our other friends are always absent. We deserve some explanation from them.

PROFESSOR AT BSL KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE BEFORE SPEAKING

The Professor from Greeley has been all over the place in the last few days trying to put some more flesh and context on what he is reported to have told parliament when he met the MPs recently. He was called in to explain the proposed redenomination of the LEONE. There’s been a lot of conversation on the issue since the Greeley Man announced his intention to carry it out.
