Night is turning into day at the FCC on the watch of our dear Mayor Yvonne Kemokai of the anti buwa- bisieh fame. We don’t know how many people will eventually run away but we know that behind that broad smile and grumbling about central government bullying lies a consistent plan to make the NEW DIRECTION look bad so that the tolongbo return to power would be easy with Yvonne Kemokai as president.

POLITICAL PARTY MARSHALLS BANNED

Good riddance. In fact it’s only the so-called SECURITY SECTOR knows why it took so long to smash what was clearly the biggest threat to democratic contest within our political parties in this country. The whole business of having cruel militia men disguised as MARSHALS around political party events had clearly gone out of hands and it’s mainly the two big parties that are responsible – they have the money and the organization to maintain and keep the militia men safe from the law.

THE DEATH OF EIGHT YOUNG PLAYERS IS UNACCEPTABLE

This nation is in mourning. The northern town of Makeni has just suffered a big blow. As we went to press NINE young footballers from the northern region mainly, are reported to have died in a road crash as they returned home from a football match in another part of the region. More than a dozen others are fighting for their lives in hospital.

HAS GENTO GROUP ABANDONED HILL STATION ROAD?

What’s really going on at Hill Station where Gento Group sprung to life in the last few weeks and attempted to clear that mess of a construction work they did only a few years ago? After clearing the surface of about a mile or so, they appear to have withdrawn from the place and the road has gone worst in the last two weeks. We’ve been waiting for an explanation but it would appear as if in their usual style, Gento Group is saying that they owe the good people of Sierra Leone zero explanation.
