The other day we outlined a few options open to Chief Sidikie following the ratification of the decision to remove him from the Red Movement at an emergency delegates' conference in Freetown.

PERHAPS SLAJ SHOULD ALSO NOW GO TO THE SUPREME COURT

We understand that two political parties have also gone to the Supreme Court with a set of eleven constitutional questions for urgent interpretation. That's beside what prominent lawyer Blyden Jenkins-Johnston has already presented to the court on behalf of Chief Sidikie. These are interesting times to be a Sierra Leonean living in Sierra Leone. People and institutions are being tested in ways they've never imagined.

YELLOW RIBBON CAMPAIGN RUNS INTO IG MUNU'S SCARE TACTICS

As far as Munu and his Blue Boys are concerned, any public expression of citizen's viewpoints by way of demonstrations on our own streets that is not sanctioned by the GOVERNMENT is illegal and would be used by people to cause trouble. For them there are people hanging in the wings all the time, waiting for something even as well-intentioned and peaceful as a Yellow Ribbon Campaign to end Ebola to strike violence and destruction.

In the name of political accountability to the ultimate authority in this land that we love - THE GOOD PEOPLE OF SIERRA LEONE, can Lord Pallo Conteh please explain why armed soldiers who are part of his convoy of vehicles behaved the way they did close to the old presidential lodge, the China House general area on Tuesday morning? For them, it would appear as if they were doing something normal but we have still not recovered from the shock of that incident more than 24 hours after.
