The Secretary General of the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) Kasho J. Holland-Cole has announced that they will be meeting with all division 1 and 2 and female clubs, tomorrow Friday 26, at the Football Academy.
He said the clubs will be informed about the date for the start of the league, the format, club registration and "other relevant matters relevant to the smooth-running of the league season".
“We want to start before we enter the raining season because most times the rains become a menace to some of our matches that are played in different venue across the country, which sometimes lead to rescheduling of fixtures that cause problems for WAFA”.
He recalled that last season they ran three leagues simultaneously and it all ended well, “this time we want to improve on that as we have learnt from our mistakes”.
