The Chairman of the Normalisation Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association Ali Fornah has said that he will take football delegates to congress as his mandate expires at the end of July.
Fornah told Politico that the football family has been divided on the basis of personal interests and that football development must start with a good structure to build a better game.
He said the lack of a good structure has brought the family into too much in-fighting.
Fornah said, ‘’we must not push out good people from football as they make the pivot of the country’s football administration… by next month when the election will be held I will not be talking again as chairman but as an ordinary observer who loves football”.
He called on delegates to put the interest of the country first as they will make or break football by the choices they make.
