NACS integrity committees set up in the north

The National Anti Corruption Strategy, NACS, has formed integrity committees at the Makeni City and Bombali District Councils in in line with provisions of the Revised National Anti-Corruption Strategy (RNACS) 2011-2013.

Regional manager north, Patrick Sandi, assured that the efforts would mark another milestone in the Commission’s fight against corruption.

He noted that the committees would be charged with the responsibility of addressing corruption issues in the Action Plans with the aim of minimising incidences of corruption in the councils.

Deputy Chief Administrators of both councils have pledged their support to the ACC, emphasising that it was a step in the right direction but pointed out some of the hindrances to the fight against sleaze.

NACS was put together inter alia to improve social service delivery in quality, quantity and process.
