After Saturday`s 2-2 draw aginst Equatorial Guinea in Malabo in the ongoing 2014 World Cup qualifiers, Leone Stars arived home yesterday, ahead of their crucial second leg tie against Sao Tome & Principe in the premilinary round of the African Cup of Nations qualifying series.
Public Relations Officer of the Sierra Leone Football Association Sorrie Ibrahim Sesay told Politico Sport that they had no time to waste as the team was immediately reporting to camp for the match on Saturday.
Saturday’s nations cup qualifier against Sao Tome & Principe will be the third match for Leone Stars in two weeks.
