The male and female categories of the national U19 Beach Volleyball teams will represent Africa in the Youth Championship in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The tournament is scheduled for July 11th -14th 2012. Thirty one teams worldwide will take part in this year`s tournament including six African representatives.
A six-man contingent from Sierra Leone will on July 9th depart Sierra Leone for the event.
Speaking to Politico Sport, the CAVB International Beach Volleyball referee, Mohamed Benson Bawoh stated that the competition will be a tough challenge.
Meanwhile the U-21 beach volleyball team is currently based in Ghana as they prepare for World Youth Championship qualifiers in Togo from June 29th to July 1st this year.
