Five teams are engaged in a fierce battle for supremacy in the ongoing Western Area regional Championships. All five teams are aiming to gain promotion to the Promotion to the Premier League in the 2011/2012 season. The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces RSLAF, the Sierra Leone Police, Stationary Stars, Anti Drugs and Man City FC will a round robin tournament at the Parade Grounds and Football Academy respectively to determine which team goes into the play-off in August. Ag. General Secretary of WAFA, Kasho Holland – Cole says the five teams qualified from the just concluded Western Area Regional Division One league which featured 14 teams.
