Twenty four Communities are set for the 4th edition of the Abdul Kanasieu trophy sponsored by the chairman of the Western Area Football Association (WAFA), Abdul Hamid Kanasieu and organized by the Fourah Amateur Football Association (FAFA) .
Speaking to this press, The Secretary General of FAFA, Abdul Rahman Davis, expressed delight at the timely intervention of the key sponsor, in making the tournament a success.
He described Kanasieu as “a man of substance who wants to see football develop in the country.
He maintained that this tournament has been very popular among the fans for its organization, assuring that this year’s competition will be exciting and very competitive.
Davis confirmed that Mount Aureole Community will lock horns with Kossoh Town Community United in the opening match.

Sunday- Crojimmy Community VS Fourah Bay Community
The competition begins on Saturday 4th August 2012 at the Fourah Bay venue.
