Victor Foh claims victory

The Secretary-General of the governing All People's Congress party says his party has bettered their performance of 2007. Speaking to Politico Victor Bockarie Foh said that in “2012 [election] things are better for us than they were in 2007”. He said that in 2007 the party won 59 seats and that “!things are better for us [this year]” Even thought he said that only the National Electoral Commission had the right to declare the results of the weekend polls, he said his party was so strong that they did not need the partnership of any other party to enable them win. “We will definitely win in excess of the constitutional mandate of 55% required to declare the president duly re-elected” Foh said. He denied allegations of ballot stuffing levelled by the main opposition Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP) who say they have evidence of such. © Politico 20/11/12
