Youth Empowerment Development Association Sierra Leone (YADA-SL), a civil society organization, has urged the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) to address the issue of impersonation within its rank.
Mohamed Kamara, Executive Director YADA-SL, told Politico that they have had to deal with a number of complaint from the public, notably in the east end of Freetown, where he rogue people disguising as journalists were on the rampage extorting money from innocent business people.

Civil society gives a nod to 2015 Census process
A group of civil society organizations which make up part of the 2015 Population and Housing Census Technical Committee has praised the ongoing process of the impending nationwide counting as on track. The group, at a press conference on Monday, said they were so far contented with the process and pledged to continue monitoring it to ensure a credible outcome.
