Real Mack football club are in hectic preparation for this year’s Camp Diva Youth Championship at Kroobay. They play their opening match on the 5th February 2013 against D.V United.

Speaking to Politico sports the head coach of Real Mack Victor Konneh said training has intensified as the competition draws near despite the fact that they have won the competition in the past.

Unqualified Coaches Are Out

The Technical Director of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Sam Obi has said that any coach without a License is not a coach and should not be allowed to sit on any technical bench during a game or travel with a team on international matches.

Speaking at the certification ceremony for ‘B’ License Coaches at SLFA Secretariat in Freetown, Metzger said two football governing bodies - FIFA and CAF have approved law.

“It’s a Dream Come True” - Dodos

Former Leone Stars international striker, Abdul Raman Sesay, commonly known as (Dodos) has officially launched a non-governmental organisation called Give Back to the Children at Brima Lane in the east of Freetown.

He said he wants to provide another lifeline for destitute children in Freetown owing to his experiences as a footballer from a humble background.
