No WAFA Matches behind closed doors
The Western Area Football Association (WAFA) has announced the postponement of its first and second division leagues. A statement from WAFA says matches would have started yesterday but have to be put on hold because of the decision by officials of NACOVERC last Thursday that games be played behind closed doors, in a bid to stem the latest spike in covid-19 confirmed cases especially in the Western Area. The Association took the decision to avoid the economic implications that it says clubs were likely to face playing under such a restriction.
