The Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Tennis Association SLTA has told Politico that they are embarking on developmental projects to improve the facilities of the association. Yayah Koroma said that "we are using this State of Emergency period to put certain things in place before the ban on all sporting activities is lifted."

The Sierra Leone Football Association has given the clearest indication yet that they are not likely to fully accept the outcome of the meeting of football stakeholders and the Secretary to the President, Emmanuel Osho-Coker. At the meeting on Monday, the SLFA was instructed to reverse its decision to suspend a number of football stakeholders, clubs and the Southern Region Football Association from participating in the forth-coming congress in the northern headquarter town of Makeni.
UNEXPLAINED STAFF SUSPENSIONS AT SLFA
Five workers of the Sierra Leone Football Association, SLFA were sent home on Wednesday with less than a week to a crucial congress of the association in Makeni.
David Momoh, Abu Maley Conteh, Aiah Dixon Brima, Abu Bakarr Conteh, commonly known as Double Chair and Emerica Jones-Brown were not allowed to enter their offices by the Administrative Officer of the SLFA.
David Momoh told journalists that, "they didn't suspend us, but we were asked out of the building without a letter until further notice...we were shocked and disappointed."
BIG BLOW FOR JOHANSEN AHEAD OF SLFA CONGRESS

The Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association has suffered a major setback with just a week to its ordinary congress in the northern city of Makeni. A meeting chaired by the Secretary to the President Emmanuel Osho-Coker at State House on Monday, concluded with the SLFA being told to reverse its suspension of all delegates, clubs and regional associations from participation at the congress.
SLVA Set for All-Africa Games

The national Volleyball team is in training for the All-Africa games due to take place in Senegal from the 16th to the 18th April 2015. The association's head of commission, Mohamed Benson Bawoh told Politico that their technical team has selected the players who would represent the country in Senegal including star players Patrick Lombi and Abubakarr Kamara in the male category.
He said in the female category Josephine Sesay and Zainab Kamara were selected.
Bilily Scores on his Debut
Former FC Kallon Midfield Maestro Mohamed Bilily Bangura has registered his first goal for his Swedish team Harnosand FC. He told Politico after the match that he was "delighted with my performance despite the fact that we lost the match 2-1...it was a sad moment for the club." He said scoring the consolation goal for his club "means a lot for me as a player who want to play football at the highest level."
Volleyball Teams Qualify for Zonal Stage

The national male and female volleyball teams have qualified for the next stage of the CAVB beach volleyball qualifiers for the Olympic Games in Brazil 2016. The male team defeated the host Guinea in the finals by 2 sets to 0 which earned them the gold medal. The female team lost in the finals to Guinea but still secured the silver medal.
