"Physical exercise makes healthy growth" Okon

"Jog for Jesus" organized by Sport life Ministry International  is to help bring the young and the old together in a physical exercise so as to generate a healthy status and  longevity in one’s life span.The Director of the jogging event, Okon Koroma said the exercise is for everybody as long as one is ready to  take part. FA CUP update...Misery for Ibrahim FC and Blackpool

Mighty Black pool and Ibrahim FC are out of the FA Cup after they were beaten by Real Mack and Freetown City football Club in the second leg matches, respectively. Ibrahim FC lost 3-1  to go out 4-1 on aggregate, while Blackpool suffered a shocking defeat at  the hands of Freetown City Football Club 1-0 in the second leg after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.  Head coach of Blackpool, Abu Sankoh  was disappointed at the result  and said they were unlucky in the entire match. ‘’We had chances to score but to no avail and Freetown City got their goal and that made the difference.

Athletes Brace up for Freetown Marathon

The Freetown Marathon is gaining momentum gradually across the country as Athletes are bracing up to take part in this years event schedule for the 26th April in Freetown. Sundufu Sowa the Competitions Director said the competitions is going to be very competitive as  lots of Athletes both local and international have consented to participate in the event.

The elective congress of the Sierra Leone Lawn Tennis Association is scheduled to take place on the 19th April 2014 with incumbent  president Kelvin Ezekiel Kelly seeking a second mandate

Speaking to newsmen Kelly said during his first time term, the challenges were many but that they were able to overcome most of them through the work of the executive. He pledged to "continue where I stopped and take the association to the next level and reach the peak were everybody is yearning for".

FA Cup Update…Diamond Stars, Ports Authority crash out

The FA Cup tournament is intensifying in the round of 32 in the Western Area and the provincial cities.

Diamond Stars, the Premier League Champions and Ports Authority have crashed out.  Diamond Stars were eliminated by Kholifa Stars of Magburaka 5-4 on a post game penalties in Kono over the weekend, after a 3-3 Draw in both ties.
