A group calling itself the nation-wide Supporters Union say they are ready to Support the Leone Stars on Saturday 7 September 2013 in their World Cup qualifier against Equatorial Guinea in Freetown.
The organisation's Secretary General Maruff Ousman Kamara called on all fans to "storm the national stadium despite the fact that we are playing only to improve our ranking on the FIFA list".
Kamara said his union welcomes all Sierra Leoneans to join them "in a patriotic duty as it happens in other countries."

Same face FC and Malcolm FC have sailed through to the final of the non-division league organised by the Central One Football Association (COFA.
Same face defeated Tottenham FC 1-0 in the first semi final match, whilst Malcolm FC won on post game penalties against Med Mans FC 5 - 4. Both qualifying teams are based in the same Central One community.
24 teams are set to take part in this year’s competition, according to the organisation's Secretary General.
Abdulai Bundu told Politico that “this country is blessed with good players but what normally affects them is their graduation to the senior team which is normally not properly handled... as an association we are coming up with this competition to expose these young lads with their God-given talents for the public to see and also serve as a platform for our local coaches to identify talents”.

Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo will lead the national team Leone Stars in their September 7th World Cup qualifier with Equatorial Guinea in Freetown while, Italy - based midfielder Rodney Strasser and defender Hassan Milla Sesay who plays club football in Finland, have both been recalled to the national squad by head coach Jonathan McKinstry.

Sierra Leonean midfielder Alfred Zagalo Sankoh secured a win for his side Sanliurfaspor at home last weekend against Kahramanmarasspor 1-0.
Sankoh said he was extremely delighted to have his name on the score sheet for second time this season. “As a player, you want to win every home game but overall I am quite happy, my goal was a special one. I want to keep scoring and hopefully promote my side to the Turkish Super League next season,” he said.

FC Kallon defeated Wanderers FC by 4-1 at the Bassa Town field, Waterloo last weekend.
Assistant Coach of FC Kallon Amidu Karim said this was their third match in Waterloo. “We won two and drew one... this win has raised our hopes to face other matches, I am very pleased with the performance of my boys”, said Karim. He attributed the victory to the good work of the technical team.
