SUPREME COURT CASE MESSES UP CENTRAL FREETOWN

We still can’t believe that Munu ordered his people to lock down the heart of Freetown and manhandle opposition supporters the way they did just because of a case at the Supreme Court about an election petition that has taken longer than usual to be heard. Our judiciary wouldn’t like this but we strongly believe that Kenya and Ghana shamed us into moving after dragging foot for weeks.

The Kenyans have finished their own election petition and the Ghanaians are very close to closing the case one way or the other.

MINKAILU BAH’S FIVE-YEAR REPORT CARD

We’ve been trying unsuccessfully to reach Sister Lynda Ngaojia, the “Woman of God” who recently made those extraordinary comments on her encounter with the heavenly host. BABABODE CAN’T PAY FOR FCC RECEIPT BOOKS

We visited the Government Printing Department (GPD) last week to verify information we received from our source at the Freetown City Council that the local government authority had run out of receipt books. We can now confirm that we saw a stack of receipt books produced for the Freetown City Council for 2012 and 2013. We gathered from the GPD that persistent calls for the council to pay for and remove the receipt books from their stores have fallen on deaf ears.

DE PA GOES TO THE WHITE HOUSE TO SEE BARAK OBAMA

De Pa is among four Heads of State from Africa invited to the White House in Washington by Barak Obama. We don’t know why. Official sources say they will discuss democracy and trade. On the face of it, those are very important items on the agenda.
