THE “MAD MAN” AT CONGO CROSS AND PRINCIPAL’S CONVOY

This is difficult to believe but it did happen on Wednesday evening as Principal’s convoy made the normal journey through Congo Cross heading home from work. How a so-called “mad man” came to disrupt the movement of the last vehicle in the convoy is something we should investigate. These days we shouldn’t take anything at face value.  Given the speed with which the presidential convey moves, Principal’s vehicle was probably at Lumley Police station when the incident happened near Vine Memorial School.

Mayor of the SUN was on social media the other day marking the second year of her reign over the good people of Freetown. We congratulate you dear Mayor and we pray that the almighty God will continue to bless you and your family and indeed the staff of the FCC and all the people of Freetown. We are quite sure we would have had some big celebration at Victoria Park if the coronavirus hadn’t suddenly appeared in Freetown from the Far East and changed our lives. Anyway congratulations!

LIKE UNESCO IN THE 80s LIKE W.H.O. IN 2020 AMERICA STRIKES?

More than THIRTY years after the United States, under a Republican president Ronald Reagan pulled out of the United Nations Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO accusing the organization of having an anti-western bias, another Republican president Donald Trump has just withdrawn funding from the World Health Organization, accusing the body of bungling its response to the Coronavirus outbreak that has killed thousands.
