CHIEF SIDIKIE WANTS BIG MONEY FROM GOVERNMENT
We read the other day that Chief Sidikie will soon press the Government of Sierra Leone to pay big money to him arising out of that totally needless case at the ECOWAS court for his removal from office by King Messi. In fact his lawyers may already have filed papers requesting a huge amount of money from our consolidated revenue.

RAMADAN OVER BUT WOULD DONATIONS CONTINUE PLEASE?
Ramadan must have started and ended well for many low or zero income people right across the country. We say so purely based on social media reports of mainly ruling party politicians donating bags and bags of rice and cash to those people. They have not had it so good in the last few years. Even prisoners at a maximum security jail spent some time with the First Lady and found themselves eating some of the best fast foods in the country. We applaud that.

VIOLENCE AT RED CAMP HQ AS MESSI OPENS REPUBLIC OF MAKENI
Red Camp headquarters was the scene of wild disorder last week resulting in police firing tear gas into the building in an attempt to flush out those inside and end a demonstration by Red Camp militants which had broken out following their loss of several parliamentary seats in election petitions from the Freetown area.
