Super League in High Gear

The Ongoing Super League is gaining momentum at Kaytee field in Freetown and the provincial towns as FC Kallon will make their second trip to Tongo to face Gem Stars on Friday 24 May, following their 1-1 draw with Kamboi Eagles in Kenema.

FC Kallon coach Charlie Wright said his boys take the league very seriously as it’s now becoming very competitive, ‘’I have told my boys that these are not friendly matches…we have to put more effort to win the league.

Super League update: FC Kallon, Ports taste defeat

Premier League top flight teams FC Kallon and Ports Authority both lost to mid-table opponents Bo Rangers and Gem Stars 2-0 and 2-1 respectively, over the weekend at the Kaytee Field, Kingtom.

This puts East End Lions and Gem Stars at the top of the table with 14 and 13 points each.

Davidson Nicol are FBC Champions

Davidson Nicol Hall were crowned champions at the Fourah Bay College (FBC) Inter Hall Sports Meet at the national stadium over the weekend.

They collected 431 points, followed by Solomon Caulker Hall with 317 and Bai Bureh Hall came third with 306 points.

The champions won most of the individual events.

Fred Claye donates to GDO

The Chairman of Sheffield United Football Club, Fred Claye has donated football equipment to the Grafton Development Organization (GDO) during the final of its Inter Community league between Shooting Stars and Kissy Strikers at Grafton Playing field last weekend.
