We were badly let down the other day by the man who has been leading the nation's fight against the dreaded Ebola disease. Well, this was not about the way he has conducted the battle so far, but he did something that could cause his counterparts in established democracies to be sacked. He mixed his very delicate job for which he is paid from the national coffers with Red Movement partisan politics inside Old Marine House.

At least one newspaper suggested last week that Robin, the son of Fallay is bent on plunging this nation into another round of chaos. We agree. If that happens he and his paymasters - and we know them - will face the International Criminal Court.

As usual ACC prosecutors have been celebrating and speaking up again about their "commitment" to ending corruption by taking the corrupt guys off the streets and having them thrown into jail. We understand that, because Justice M A Paul has just locked up Katta and others after finding them guilty of corruption. But let's note a few things:

We have to once again call attention to the way the construction companies doing some roads in this country are treating the people. These companies have no respect for the people. In fact they believe they are doing us a favour and we should start our day by worshipping them. For the last week or so, thousands of people between Leicester Road and Gloucester have been put through one of the most horrific experiences of their lives.

GUINEA EBOLA ATTACK THREATENS SALONE BUT HOW HAVE WE RESPONDED?

Our neignbours in the Republic of Guinea are under attack by the dreaded EBOLA virus. Scores of lives have been lost and the prediction as to what will happen in the coming weeks, is not looking good. On this side of the border we can only pray for God to take direct control of the situation and spare the lives of our brothers and sisters in Guinea. some of Guinea's other neighbours have closed their borders but should Sierra Leone do the same? Can we afford that?
