PETROL QUEUES ALL OVER FREETOWN AGAIN, LIFE GROUNDED

We are still waiting to hear the normal excuses about what may have caused fuel pumps to run dry in Mama Salone again. Kothor IB is not around the government spokesman's role anymore because he would have simply told the nation that unscrupulous saboteurs were at work. Kothor, any ideas this time?

RWANDA'S PAUL KAGAME AND THE THIRD TERM QUESTION

It's beginning to look like Rwanda would go the way of Burundi soon on the important question of whether presidents who come to Africa with a constitution limiting them to two terms should be able to change that constitution towards the end of their second term so they can stay in office forever.

ACC SAYS KING BAYUKU IS CLEAN BUT WITH A FEW QUESTION MARKS

It's been a long wait. And for KING BAYUKU of Bintumani Hills, every 24 hours seemed like a whole year. Now the ACC of PILATE FITZGERALD has just told the nation he found no reason to hang KING BAYUKU...no wahala. We were brought up to trust the judgment of PILATE FITZGERALD and his ACC. UDM LEADER IS VERY ANGRY WITH POLITICO: LET'S GO SLOWLY

LOL….We got a call from the UDM leader on Tuesday, who felt he was the ORBANGU we had referred to in our Twitter column of yesterday 28 July, 2015. He was very angry because, according to him, we misquoted what he said on radio the other day about Nigerians and all that. At Politico, we take great care in such matters because we do not want to unnecessarily cause harm. That's our pledge. The UDM leader asked for clarification on the issue. We have always acknowledged people’s rights under IMC rules.

"I AM MOVING INTO A NEW POLITICAL ROLE" ...ORBANGU SPEAKS

If all went according to plans, Orbangu should have completed his "consultations" with his party members across the country by now. In the last ten days or so, Orbangu has been going from one radio station to the other, telling the world about his next political move. He gave very clear hints - clear to the extent that many people know where the guy is headed already. In fact there are no surprises.
