STRIKE-PRONE JUNIOR DOCTORS ARE GETTING ON OUR NERVES
Let’s get a few things out of the way before we make our point on this recent strike call by our JUNIOR doctors;
1. There can be no excuse for keeping those hospital cleaners on duty for so long without paying them their salary forcing them to allow rubbish to pile up at our main hospital.

A WEEK OF UNPRECEDENTED PRESIDENTIAL OPENESS
Last week we witnessed what we can only describe as unprecedented. For the first time as far back as we can remember, a president of Sierra Leone walked into radio and TV stations across Freetown and urged the journalists to ask him any question about his stewardship to the nation in the THREE YEARS since he was democratically elected.

TROUBLED SLFA ETHICS COMMITTEE IN MORE DILEMMA
The Ethics Committee of Queen Johansen’s SLFA has locked itself into an uncomfortable corner by doing exactly what the Johansen campaign team told them to do more than a month before they released their much derided statement about candidates they cleared to run in the awaited SLFA elections. The promised to be fair to all candidates but what they produced is a disgrace. It’s up to Isha Johansen to determine when that congress will take. She is the god of Sierra Leone football.

LARGE SCALE POLITICAL GRANDSTANDING INSPIRED BY TOLONGBO
Yansaneh thought he had found a clever way to divert attention front the raging fire of discontent in his Tolongbo group when he managed to bring together a so-called “consortium” of political organizations to say this and that about ongoing national programs. Yansaneh has always boasted about the strength of his Tolongbo group across the country so why did they need a “consortium” to say the kind of things we heard after that meeting at Tolongbo headquarters?
