There have been significant developments in the past few weeks to suggest the battle for points will be quite intense. Today in Makeni Wusum Stars will play host to FC Kallon. A win for Kallon will see them occupy the top of the table. Both teams drew their last matches.

Airtel Rising Stars Event Kicks Off

The Airtel Rising Stars under 17 football tournament starts today at the Brima Attouga Mini Complex in the east of Freetown with a march past across the field by all eighteen clubs taking part in the Western Area segment of the tournament.

WAFA PETITIONS ISHA JOHANSEN

The candidacy of SLFA presidential aspirant Isha Johansen has been petitioned by the Western Area Football Association, WAFA. The petition comes less than a week after the close of nomination for elections scheduled for late July. The eligibility of Johansen’s proposed first vice president Brima Mazolla Kamara is also being question by WAFA. Please see letter below:
